Medical Illustrations

For centuries, physicians relied on artists to capture technique and anatomy through illustrations, and urology has been an important part of the history of medical illustration. Named after the foremost authority in urologic medical illustration, the William P. Didusch Center for Urologic History houses a robust collection of nearly 3500 illustrations. Roughly half of the illustrations are available to review online, while the entire collection is available for viewing at the Didusch Center.
