Dispensing of electricity. Oil painting by Edmund Bristow, 1824. Wellcome Library, London.

It begins with a brief history of electricity and leading scientists in the field, and continues to show how electricity has affected medicine throughout the years since its discovery, with a special emphasis on electricity in urology. The exhibit concludes with a tower on "Quackery" or electromedical devices which did NOT cure as they were purported.
